Когда такие участки кода встречаются редко, или файлы контроллера меньше 300-400 строк, такую запись можно проигнорировать. Однако дальше она начинает сильно мешать — код читается намного хуже.
Решение довольно простое — перенести такие сложные find'ы в custom-методы моделей.
Гораздо красивее и понятнее смотрится код, когда мы перенесем этот find в модель, в созданный для этого метод getInvoicesByBill_id.
